In late December I posted a somewhat tongue-in-cheek take on my New Year’s Resolution and Word of the Year for 2024.
It’s… “beans”.
As in, eat more beans, maximize their health benefits, and challenge myself creatively with their culinary possibilities. Maybe save a little money at the grocery store, too.
Since I wrote that post, I’ve eaten a lot of beans, in a lot of different ways. I’ve figured out my favorite strategy for soaking and simmering beans, and have worked them into at least one meal every day since January 1. And in our very first subscriber-only episode of The Tea’s Made, I’m going to share more about my beanventure with you!
