The Restore 2 is definitely a big improvement on the original, though I got a ton of use out of that one too - some of the button placement wasn't the best on the OG. Keep an eye out for sales on the Restore 2!
I have been SO intrigued by that hatch alarm (I am a terrible sleeper!) -- does it have white noise? I sleep with my phone next to my head for the white noise app and would love to find an alternative.
Oh my gosh. Yes, yes it does. I was using a sunrise alarm for years before I heard about Hatch, and that was my gateway, but honestly I lean just as much now on the nighttime features. You can program a whole wind-down routine with a light that slowly dims + nature sounds, music, meditations, whatever you like, and then you can have it end with white noise to sleep by. It's super-programmable and customizable. I have mine set to start the "wind-down" process at 8 PM and if I happen to walk through my bedroom and see it started without me, I swear to you I get sleepy. It's like a Pied Piper, piping me to bed :D
That soup looks amazing, and I'm so grateful you exposed your followers to the Hatch. We love ours!
Yay! I love mine too :)
I wish I had waited to get the Hatch Restore until the 2nd version came out! I have the first gen one, and it's not very user-friendly.
I love all your thoughts here on growth and looking for the beauty that we already have around us, not always wanting for more.
